Bentonite can be -and is- recycled!

Monday, 21 October, 2013

IMA- Europe has completed its set of Recycling Sheets, with a new sheet on bentonite. Calcium carbonate, feldspar, kaolin and clay, lime, silica, talc and bentonite are now covered. Although minerals themselves may not be recyclable per se, many of them lead second, third, fourth or even an infinite number of lives in the case of glass in the products that contain them. The IMA-Europe Recycling Sheets gather publicly available data on the recycling rate of the main applications and products in which industrial minerals are used as primary raw materials. Download or read the updated Recycling Sheets brochure.
